libgc-dev software package provides conservative garbage collector for C (development), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgc-dev
libgc-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgc-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgc-dev *
You will get with libgc-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
